But yeah, there should be mandatory read-aloud audio files for TOS’s before I agree is enabled. Also, there should be random quizzes based on the TOS content, throughout the software’s lifetime.
Users should be well aware of what they’re getting into!
hey I just tried commenting and it said, “you scrolled down faster than you can actually read the cartoon, so comment rejected, Please read the post before commenting”
Did you activate the same system?
I think one should be there for my blog as well. :D lol
Xylene, I don’t want to shoo away few of the active and regular commentators/commenters on my blog… :) so I won’t put this system in place on my blog. It is suitable for your blog since people might not read the post in a hurry to be the first one to comment.
I actually had something like this on a shareware software i used a few years ago. another time the program closed itself because i did not scroll to the end
There are countries in the world (eg. germany) where reading the EULA/TOS is just a waste of time, as they are not binding because you can only see them after purchase.
oh damn i hop they dont ever put that in cause i dont ever read those things and i dont want to start and why should i have to anyways its my damn time and i dont have any of it too waste on those see i dont even have time to use punctuation i have to keep stumbling i only have time to post random things on random comments ok thanks bye
I have had this happen to me in a way. I didn’t scroll down the page and tried pressing it and I couldn’t. So I had actually scroll down so I at least saw the words even if they were going very fast.
ha…ha…ha… :)
ha ha ha ha true .. I never read any of the TOSs
Dammit! I had a similar idea :(

lol
Everybody should use EULAlyzer. It’s free and an easy way to check End User Licence Agreements without actually having to read one.
The EULA’s are ridiculous, we all know that, but I don’t understand why the comic is so hilarious. It’s only as hilarious as the actual EULAs.
Is this a high-school site? That would explain everything, including the comments.
LOL when i was a kid i used to be sure to scroll down very slowly so the computer would think i actually read it
SHH! Don’t give them any ideas.
I have always worried about that happening to me to be truthful.
It’ll never happen friend. I’ve already got half the souls on the planet signed up. See you soon.

I’ve actually seen this implemented years ago. Maybe as far back as Windows ME
